15,000 square feet of reclaimed maple flooring.Beautiful old growth material from
turn of the century textile mill(1904).
Dimensions are 3/4" thickness X 3 1/2" width in random lengths from 2 to 12 feet.
$1.25 per square foot for 5000+ square feet or more.

Doesn't sound like a bad price, but I have never used recovered lumber before either. I watched a show once where Norm Abram did and there was a lot of nail holes and stuff. Personally I thought Norm could have chosen his pieces better, but he chose to bowtie the defects which I did not care for.

Still there is no getting away from the fact that the wood has character. We have old houses here that having floor boards and stuff 2 feet wide and made out of Pumpkin Pine,or what amounts to Virgin Pine from before the settlers landed. The grain is amazing. So tight it took a magnifying glass to see the lines. That is amazing for Eastern White Pine. I bet this wood is the same way.
