ron, very handsome lidded box. beautiful choice of woods as well. i hope you don't mind that i've saved some of your work to my files for inspiration? this will be another to add.

Not at all, I'm actually flattered that you would want to do that.

I use Waterlox from the red can. There's 4 or 5 coats on this piece.


BTW:
I use clear shoe polish for the insides
 
Super, such a nice combo of wood and colors, and a pleasing shape.

That is the kind of turning I always try to do, the kind where just about anyone who see it, would want to pick it up and hold it :thumb:
