Hello all,
I just joined this site a few days ago and wanted to introduce my self. My name is Al and has been trying to do wood working a little over a year. Their have only been three projects that came out fair enough for me to acknowledge. This summer I am planning to upgrade to more accurate tooling. Current tools are a Craftsman RAS, 6” jointer with warped fence, 9” drill press and a 12” planer.:( Later I will try to post some pics of my wood butchery.

Hi Al, we all got to start somewhere!

The first wood working tool I ever bought, after I moved to Japan was a cheap $1 hammer, the first time I used it the head broke off the steel handle :rofl::rofl:

The second tool I bought was a good quality gear driven hand drill, (hey, it's cordless!) I still have it, my daughters use it all the time.

WE LIKE PICTURES!! :thumb:

Cheers!

Nice to see you here, Al. Lots of us guys are working our way up the learning curve...you'll fit right in.
