Just finish a NFIP HF. It is 7 1/2" tall and 6 1/4" across. The walls are pretty consistant 3/16". Randy's new hunter style cutter sure does make smoothing the inside easy. This is my first one and would like to do some more. It is finished with I think 7 coats of lacquer. Sorry the the pictures weren't better but headed out of town and the LOML was ready NOW if you catch my drift.

Very cool, Bernie. That's some awesome wood, and a fine job on the hollow form. I was looking at a NIP blank a couple weeks ago at Rockler, but I ended up with a piece of mallee burl instead.

Bernie, another beauty with a thin wall, really great.
I love pine, especially Norfolk, the right stuff for translucent shades.
Hard to get here, so I'm already glad getting my hands on yellow pine.
