something new and quite cool

Brilliant, really and truly brilliant :thumb:

I should get hold of them and ask them about the Japanese rights to it, talk about a tool MADE for the Japanese market, safe, quiet, no DC needed, could use it on your kitchen table..... :D

Holy smokes!!

You know, I sat through that entire demo video and was just amazed! It really looks like a well thought out system. I especially liked the way it cut the pins and tail outlines for dovetails.

But the PRICE!!!:eek::eek::eek:

Holy smokes!

While cost and price really don't have much to do with each other, and I hear they are contracting to have it made in China, which apparently reduces cost significantly (of course it also makes it a given that a clone from HF or elsewhere will soon be on the market) I really can not see much of a market for it at that price. No real novel ideas in it, basically a sliding table for a hand saw that can be tilted to give compound angle cuts. They seem to be pushing the minuscule saw blade kerf more than anything else.
