The last 1/3rd of the trim is floating on the ends of the tops. Tops are held on with metal clips. I have a little table to make for a lady as a present to her dad, beyond that a bed for a grandson, and a kitchen maybe this winter for my son. Here is a pic of the one side unit. You can see I used the biscuit cutter to make slots for the clips.so did you use bread board ends so the top can move bryan? the top trim looks great together with the rest of it.. so whats next????
Thanks. Thats to keep the radio going as the button fails to stay down!Hi Bryan ,
What nails did you drive with that sledge?
Shaz
I used a Fuji Q3 HLVP turbine to apply 1 coat lacquer sanding sealer, then 2 coats of satin lacquer. I add a little bit of thinner to the ML Campbell Magnalac laquer.looks great, can I ask what did you use to finish it.
Poly over stain? If so, what kind of poly, how was it applied?
Im making a box out of oak veneer ply and oak lumber and Id like to understand how to finish it.
