Some teak bowls I made

Good to see you Alfredo! You have the great talent of being able to reproduce a shape over and over...not an easy task!! What size are your bowls?

Nice work, I can't imagine teak being all that easy to turn!?

Surprised at some of the lighter grain on some of them, most of the teak we see up here has been selected/stained? to be more uniform. Yours is prettier :)

The teak is not easy to turn. I have not much experience with hard Woods, however the teak Wood has been the hardest one to turn. I need to sharp my tools so frequently.

Thank you all for your comments.

Beautiful bowls. And a lot of teak -- I don't see slabs that big around here!

Good to know that teak is a challenge. I made a bunch of napkins rings for Christmas gifts, and one set was from osage orange. It was the toughest thing I've ever turned. They looked beautiful when done, but what a challenge!
