Sally Wattle Christmas present

Sally Wattle, a tree from the central highlands of Queensland. 12 spirals for a change finished with 4 coats of gloss WOP. Its almost 7x7 with a I think Eucalyptus collar.
The collar was from a piece of scrap, not sure what it really is.

Ah, Sally Wattle. I went out with her little sister in high school. :D

This is another great piece, Neil. :clap: The carving (and sanding) work looks flawless, and you did it on a form that's right on the money. :thumb:
 
Larry, no they are hand cut, incidentally I thought there for a while I had cut them too deep. Had to get a second opinion fROm the Boss [ LOML] :)
