for our friends in Japan

This is hilarious. My wife and I stumbled across the Krispy Kreme in Tokyo's Ginza district as we were ending a night out with some friends. In the second pic you can see a lady handing out free donuts to the customers waiting in line. I held out that evening for a scoop of ice cream on a waffle.

Cheers.

They also make a mean honey bun! When I was in college a dive near campus had honey bun ice cream. They would slap the honey bun on the grill and get it nice and hot and then put a couple scoops of vanilla ice cream on top. It's as close to heaven as you can get.

We have one in Shinjuku, maybe a 20 minute walk from here. I've see line ups that are over an hour long............ for donuts........ :dunno:

I certainly don't have that kind of time on my hands :D

...I don't see any difference between the KK donuts and the ones Costco make :dunno:

Well...Costco doesn't give away free ones when you're waiting in line. :p

Actually, I haven't had the Costco donuts, but aside from freshness, I don't quite understand the allure of Krispy Kreme. :dunno:
