Good list, Nancy, but it missed these:

ac.. 3 to say that despite research to the contrary, light bulbs don't actually work, and you can see just as well if you just wrap the room in green wood shavings, put it in a brown paper bag and wait for 6 months.

ad.. 17 to point out that the mustard yellow light bulbs are much better than the white ones

ae.. 24 to say both yellow and white are too expensive, and they get just as good of light from their imported green bulbs, for much less money

af.. 6 to say modern light bulbs are the lazy way to do things, and that candle light is much more satisfying

ag.. 1 who offers his astute opinion about bulbs in every single lighting thread, even though he's not turned on a light in years

ah.. An indeterminate number who get into protracted arguments over which light bulb is better: Festbulb or EZ-Light

ai.. A nearly equal number to argue the merits of left-threaded bulbs vs. right-threaded bulbs

aj.. 17 to proudly post pics of their /son/daughter/grandkid/spouse turning on their very first light bulb

I'm sure there are others I'm missing.

Ya know....I think I was the one who posted that on SMC a long time ago.....if not, maybe something similar in regards to forum posters:huh:

Steve, I "borrowed" it from a new thread on SMC, and it's had some others added to it over there. I think we might be up to item # aaa by now!!

Don't know how you missed it, Vaughn.....

ak.. 5 arguing the relative financial morality of the "Sawstop Saf-T-Bulb" (a refinement of the Joo Janta 200 Super-Chromatic Peril Sensitive Sunglasses - turns itself off when you are in any danger of cutting yourself in the shop, allowing you to remain calm and collected) and the manufacturers attempts to force universal world domination of the light bulb industry, including a copyright on the use of lightbulbs to represent ideas in saturday morning cartoons (applied retro-actively, of course).
