OK I am a copy cat! But when I saw Glenn's Candle holders I was so impressed that I had to try and make some myself. It was fun to do but I couldn't find the nice glass holders like Glenn used. The most time consuming part was the 6 coats of shelac. The long holder was the one that I used Mahogany on. I have never had much luck with the finish on mahogany. Any advice would be most welcome. Some kind of a filler so as to close up the grain? They are not as good as Glenns but for useing up some scrap wood they were fun to make.
