Summer in March in Minnesota?

Last year on April 9th.





Evidently the last of the ice went out yesterday.






This year on March 17.











Not quite summer. The boats are all still on the hard.

We've got golf courses opening up in Niagara. I was outside today without a jacket, balmy and comfortable at 14ºC. Never seen a spring like this before.

our golf courses never close ...

Been in the mid to high 70's all last week. Our golf course, Trappers Turn, opened last Sunday the 11th. Earliest opening ever. I haven't been out yet as the grass is just starting to go from it's dormant brown to having a wee bit of green. It was 80º yesterday and it's supposed to stay in at least the 70's most of this coming week. Even overnight temps are more summer like. It is 60º this morning. More like a morning in July.

I took the snow plow off the JD and put the mower back on today. Forgot to turn off the mower taking it from one end of the shop to the other outside and had a nice cut path...guess it's tall enough to mow...not that I'm doing it today.

Yep! Did that yesterday - including the mowing.
