Something that gets under my skin rather quickly is changing the name of a tool over a period of time but it seems some people are dead set on doing just that.
Chop Saw and Miter Saw for example. Two different tools used for a purpose about as far apart as one can get.
Then we get to the Jig Saw, Scroll Saw
and Saber Saw. Those saw names have been screwed around over the years until I have no idea what to call one.
Why in the world can't we just stay with the names they were given by the inventor?
Rant over and I feel better now. Well almost.
An O is in the alphabet and a 0 is in our numbering system. Saying O for 0 in my opinion is just pure laziness and probably the most often mistake made in our English speech. Professional reporters are even on the band wagon on this one.
Now I really feel gooder/better.
