Another Doozy.....

Started cleaning this later 1600 painting. Heat damage and lot's of Garnet shellac. Cleaned the center area to about 80 % and move to the right upper corner. This customer has me doing some period damage furniture that I'll post when I get to each one.

Took this last Pic outside. The last person to attend this painting used a paint that would come off with a cleaning. If you look you can see the areas where the painting
Shows deep degradation. I can see that the air brush will feather in these areas nicely.
Cleaning process is 90% done. Splotches of varnish remain. Tough areas to contend with.
So I have 12 hours in the cleaning.

Bump this up done for now. I'll check it in a couple weeks with fresh eyes.
