Mountain Drone Shots

I put together this little video from some of the footage I took Memorial Day weekend at my buddy's cabin in the Pecos mountains. You have to be pretty cautious flying with that many trees around. Also working on my video editing, but I think it's getting better. At least this is somewhat synced to the music.

Well done. How high off the ground do you fly? I like that you fly slowly. The visual impact is much better than when the drone is raced as some do.

The legal limit for private drones in the US is 400' above ground level. These shots were only about half that high because there were stronger winds at higher elevations. (The drone controller gives me high wind warnings when the drone is having to fight the wind.)
