A buddy of mine is rebuilding a pop-up tent-trailer. While working on the cable lift system the top fell. No one was hurt but the sink, top and cabinet ended up in three pieces. He brought over the parts to use as a pattern and I built him a paint-ready replacement in exchange for lunch.
Good catch. The top is Masonite. He will cover it in some sort of epoxy finish that he is aware of. The sink pops out with four wing nuts and the plastic banding is just a press fit so easy to take the top off for finishing.
