Another Collection of Models.

Dredging through my SketchUp models instead of cleaning in my shop. I decided to put together another collection. This is most of the Adirondack style chairs I've modeled over the years. I think there's one or two more. The joggling bench is included because it comes from about the same period as the original Adirondack chairs.

It seems like an interesting thing to have on a porch or out in the lawn. the seat is joined to the uprights so everything is a bit flexible. That allows the seat to be a bit bouncy.

We saw them on porches in Charleston, SC when we visited a few years ago. Hadn't seen them anywhere before that - or anywhere else, either.

Very cool, Dave. I especially like the bentwood model, second from the left on the front row. It looks real comfy.
