They were indeed an extraordinary bunch of soldiers. I went to a lecture/book signing a few years ago given by Chester Nez's grandson. Chester was one of the original group of Code Talkers, and he wrote a very interesting memoir. The grandson had some great stories to tell about his granddad, and was a very personable guy himself.

I'm sure you'll like it. It's one of the few books I've read in recent years, and I learned a lot from it.
