Has anyone ever sold anything.....

I set up a store there because it was cheaper than setting up my website with a shopping cart and all. This way, if someone should want to buy something on my site I can just link it to the etsy store and they take care of everything.

Thanks for the comments. I found it googling the other day and was just wondering. I had contemplated setting up a store.

John,
also check out Art-fire... that's a paid site, but I have an account there also and have sold a few pieces there as well... plus I also have my own website.. I'm looking for every outlet I can find.

Artfire costs $12 month, but you have unlimited listings...
there is a free version but that only allows 10 items...

The thing with ETSY is that you'll need to continually massage your listings to keep them up in their search program.... after awhile as more and more people list, your listings will slide down the search... I have a friend from my craft show circuit that sells quite a bit on ETSY, but continually changes listings to keep her listings near the top...
