Very interesting trip. Loved the scenery shots. Sure is green. I take it you love New England. That comes across pretty clear. Looking forward to your next video.

That is just an overview of some places I have visited in New England. I will be creating actual videos as I start out on this adventure.

I have 2 trips planned

1) Sept 23, 24 to Deerefield Craft show and Yankee Candle Vilage

2) Columbus day drive down Rt-2 in north western Ma to North Adams then down Rt-7 to Hancock Shaker Village then to Stockbridge and Norman Rockwell museum

Another video will be Thanksgiving.

We are all going to Plimouth Plantation on Thanksgiving day for a meal and a presentation. Diane and I with Dianes nephew and his wife along with my daughter her husbans and 2 kids. I will capture as much as possible on video. The tickets also include a 2 day pass to the plantation.

I enjoyed your video. Great photos!

I have spent quite a bit of time in New England primarily Connecticut and Massachusetts. We used to have a number of relatives in Massachusetts but most of the ones we visited have passed on. My wife was in Boston last week and spent some time with the one surviving cousin that lives there.

I live in North Carolina and your comments about the state in which I was born and live are appreciated. But if you don't like it hot it is not the place for you. Oh, there are hotter places but we have plenty of hot days. Heck, you have to mow grass practically up to Christmas around here. Of course, I cannot stand the cold so the heat is much appreciated by me.

I have been fortunate to have traveled to 47 of the 50 states. They all have beauty and they all have wonderful people. It has been my experience that for the most part everyone in every state is about the same. They are just trying to make a living, take care of their children and live their lives in peace.

Of course, there are those Yankees with their accents....:p:LOL:

Mike, Thank you. I have not been to as many states but I completely agree with you about people everywhere. I have met and worked with people from many different places. I love to talk about cultures in different places with people from those places.

The desert has it's own beauty, as with the everglades and in Texas, Chicago and so many other places. This whole earth is beautiful. BUT - New England is my home and I am comfortable here. I liked North Carolina, but it is not my home.

October in New England is my very most month of the year. I treasure every minute.

Ohhh, and those southern accents all yall -----:cool::cool:

I seem to recall that when you and I were on the phone about that copy of XP I had, I first had to leave a message. A few minutes later you were laughing at me saying there is no doubt I was from Texas with my Texas drawl. I'm kinda proud of that drawl!

My wifes family in Fla.

Even though they were born here they got the accent - mostly the kids.
When I was a kid I lived part of my life in a small town in northern NM. I was one of about a half dozen Anglo kids in the elementary school. I had a Spanish accent just like all of my friends. :D Although I speak a minimal amount of Spanish, I can still turn that accent on at the drop of a hat.

I've also spent a fair amount of time in eastern NM where most folks sound like Texans. I can also switch the southern drawl on and off at will.
