Back saw restoration (worth doing it?)

Tony you might find any parts you need here. A new brass back may help in removing that twist in the plate as it will provide the necessary tension.
You've gone this far into it why not see it to completion. Never know, it could end up a good user

Sentimental reasons are the worst reasons for restoring anything from the past. I would have let it go to saw heaven in peace.

Hi Rick, thanks for the link, I may use it on th future, I have to check the shipping costs which may be more expensive than the parts themselves. But I keep it as there is no place here where I can find such parts. Thanks a lot.
