In the shop today , I get to run the shop today ! Jarrods on working on closing on a new house. New house , new marriage , new baby on the way.
We'll both be out at the farm getting food plots ready for upcoming hunting season this weekend.
Last weekend we had to move the shed 5' to get in fully on the property. My guys at the shop helped and moved 8 yards of gravel also.
Jacob had his hair cut and donated to child cancer center. Which he said they were very thankful for. He's assistant project manager at a malty M$ Project. He's getting ready to move to Project manage for a new big project in Charlotte NC,very proud of my son Jake.

Have more limbs and trash to pick up. The wind has been relentless the past two weeks. Gusts to 40 mph and just steady blowing. Not pleasant at all. And it's a cold wind. The temperature may be in the 50's but the wind chill is a bunch lower.Have a few honey do list things to complete but not before it gets warmer.
everyone have a safe and healthy weekend and more.

Need to get some plexiglass for the storm door on the garage. High winds caught it the other day glass flew out into the yard about 10’ away. Won’t be going out barefoot for a while. ;)

I’ll probably work on drawer boxes for the kitchenette, may go pickup counter tops if weather permits.

I need to go get pipe to finish up the laterals.

Added another disc golf basket to the yard to practice. I need to level a few spots in the yard to move them around.

Family coming for a visit tomorrow means a last minute house cleaning and checking the fridge and pantry for out of date items so we don't get scolded:eek: Lots of gardening and outdoor spring clean up to do and I think I need to blow the leaves off the new gutter guards, hopefully easier than cleaning the gutters. Stay safe and healthy folks.

Trying to recover from a glue-up induced heart attack from yesterday. I thought I had a clamping plan worked out, but it was not a good one and everything went south. I had to scramble and I managed to get it done, but the box I was making is a little out of square. Not that you would notice. Before glue up everything was great. After glue up I have a gap on a dovetail joint and a chip on one dovetail joint caused by the glue up to repair. Any good ideas? I heard sawdust and super glue, but not sure how it is done. Mix it as a paste and spread it on or fill the gap with sawdust and drip super glue? I am thinking the latter.

Need to open one end for the sliding lid and then finish the box.

For the rest of the weekend, maybe some tractor work and then some pickleball on Sunday

Picture below are of the two area's needing some repair and a top view showing that the miter portion of the mitered through dovetails turned out well.

Tonight is the first show with the new band lineup, and the first one in nearly two months. We're really looking forward to this one. We've been teasing our fans with "a big surprise is coming", but for the most part nobody knows what the surprise is. We've coaxed a longtime friend and excellent keyboardist/singer out of retirement. :thumb: He was very well known back in the day (one of the best keyboard players in town back then), and our fans will be surprised to see we've added not only a keyboard player and another strong singer, but this particular guy. He's having fun playing with us, we're having fun playing with him, and our fans will be having fun tonight. :)

The rest of the weekend will be pretty laid back, mostly recovering from the physical aspects of lugging band gear around town and standing for 3+ hours with a guitar hanging on my shoulder. Depending on the temps, I'd like to do a bit of shop and yard cleanup too. I'll also be watching the Formula 1 qualifying on Saturday and race on Sunday.

Yeah, I'd fill with saw/sanding dust and drip the CA. If you try to make a paste it'll harden before you can apply it. It's likely to darken the surrounding wood some, though.

My grandson is on a kick lately he only wants to go to hotel with us
He asks us all the time
He is upset we are away and he isn't here

I think his speech disorder makes him insecure as I know kids are cruel and his baby sister is repeating everything clearly

We are looking into Lego land in goshen ny during April break but I won't know till I get home and try to book it
There's a place in New Jersey called digger land where kids get to operate miniature front loaders tractors but he might be too short for that
I want to do things with him while I'm healthy enough to participate
If I say while I'm still here my family gets mad at me
