Just had the following converstation with LOML

Since you mentioned it... why don't they manufacture a towel rack that you could actually hit two studs with? The overwhelming majority are either 18 or 24". :huh:

Wouldn't make any difference Kirk, if other LOML's are like mine, 'cause she would want it mounted where the mounting brackets would STILL MISS the studs by at LEAST Six inches.:rolleyes::doh::D

Not much point in making a towel rack that towel cannot fit on :D

The doohickys that you stick into the dry wall do a good job of this, or you can get fancy and make a backer board up, put some nice edge work on it and stain it to match, and then attach the backer board to the wall, and the towel rack to the back board :thumb:

yes, I've been down this road before :D
